TUPI GUARANI PEOPLE!!
The Tupi Guarani people consisted of two groups. The Tropical Forest people fished in rainforests to survive, while the Marginal and Semi Marginal people hunted and gathered food. The crops that they grew were manioc, yams, cotton, gourds, tobacco, maize, pepper, beans, squash, pineapple, and sweet potatoes.
These people were located in South America from the 14th century to present day. They spoke over 50 different languages, but their main languages are Guarani and Spanish.
The women maintained the feilds of crops while the men hunted and fished. They shared houses with about 60 people per 5 houses.
The people were very war-like and took prisioners. They would keep them prisioners for several months, and would treat them well and sometimes even give them wives. On a certain day, hey would kill the prisioner and prepare them for a feast. Old women drank the blood, and mothers smeared it on their chests. They roasted the body and the whole village, including guests, ate. If they had given the prisioner a wife, she would weap, but soon join in the feast as well. Only the executioner wasn't to eat. He had to go into seclusion to protect himself and the village from the prisoner's ghost.
